Matt is a lifelong resident of the Village, and a well known and respected attorney with a law practice right here in the Village, where he has represented hundreds of Village families over the last twenty years.
He served as Suffern's Village Justice for sixteen years before his election as Village Trustee. He is also an adjunct professor at Manhattan, Iona and Domincan Colleges and a former volunteer CCD teacher and Parish Council member of Sacred Heart Church.
He is a graduate of Sacred Heart School, Don Bosco Prep, Manhattan College and Pace Law School. He is married to Maribet, a public school guidance counselor and together, they are the proud parents of Matt and Jack.
Trustee Frank Hagen
Frank is a 38 year resident of Suffern where he and his wife Lois raised 4 sons. He is retired from the National Guard after 35 years of service and has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management.
Frank served as a Parking Enforcement Officer for the Village and has also served the Village as a volunteer on the Recycling Committee and has been active with the Suffern Farmer's Market since its inception. He was also part of the Suffern Revitalization and the Suffern Civic Association. He is an officer in the American Legion Post 859 and the Sons of Italy in America. Frank is ready to serve the Village as a Trustee and pledges to always be accessible and responsive to Suffern residents.
