Village Tax Billed:
Due: June 1
By July 1 for penalty free period
After July 1, 5% penalty
Thereafter, 1% additional each month through October 31 (then it goes to the County)

Solid Waste Billed:
Due: January 1 and June 1
January 31 for penalty free period
(the June Solid Waste bill is included on Village tax bill)
After February 1, a late charge of 5% of the gross amount of the bill and an additional charge of 1% of the solid waste bill for each month thereafter.

Water Billed:
Due: November and May
Thirty days from date of bill for penalty free period.
After 30 days, 10% penalty
If November bill and May bill are not paid by April 15, they will be relevied on June tax bill.

Village of Suffern Collection of Taxes: Please take notice that I, the Village Clerk of the Village of Suffern, New York, have received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the Collection of Taxes for the 2010-2011 Fiscal Year. Taxes are due and payable at the Village Office, Municipal Building, 61 Washington Avenue, in said Village, from June 1st to July 1st, 2010, inclusive, from eight o'clock in the morning until four o'clock in the afternoon, daylight savings time. During said period taxes may be paid to me, without an additional charge.

Please take further notice, that on all such taxes remaining unpaid after July 1st, 2010, 5% (five per centum) will be added for the first month, and an additional 1% (one per centum) for each month, and/or fraction thereafter, until paid.
